I See The Light

I know I'm lazy nowadays, if it's about blogwriting, but it can be truly tiring to write in English... But now I have to show you my new drawing that I've just finished, because I'm kind of proud of it, and that's not a usual thing :)

The printed version goes into a nice old frame and it happened for the last time 5 years ago (I checked it :D). Time to change it. I know it can sound very egoist that I put my own drawing in a frame but actually it's really inspiring for me.

Disney sneakers

In the last 2 and a half days I worked day and night on these 2 pairs of sneakers so I MUST show them here as well~ I'm really proud of them, especially of the Tangled inspired one *_* Though I like Elsa as well, Rapunzel is still my favourite princess ;)

Vintage-style badges

As some of you may know, in the past months I was working on a huge project. Someone who has a badge making machine comissioned me to draw 20 pictures with kids and animals on it in vintage style with delicate colors. I finished the drawings in the beginning of January and I already got one example of each design! They turned out really lovely, I'm still amazed at the quality of the badges, you can see every tiny detail on it clearly. I share my favourites with you:

I hope I'll have some similair projects in the future as well, I really enjoyed doing it, though I know I complained a lot to my closest friends that I have no more inspiration and I'm sick of cute animals and kids :D But now that it's finished, I'm really happy with it!

Sailor Moon Christmas Art Trade

I hope You have a lovely Christmas! :) Before writing about our tree, celebration and presents, I'd like to show you something else: A bit more than a month ago we agreed with Mimi that we'll do a Sailor Moon-themed art trade for each other for christmas :) I chose Pluto & Chibimoon and she chose Neptune & Saturn as subjects :) And here you are the results:

And mine for her. I like how Hotaru turned out, but I'm not happy with Michiru, she's simply not like her :S But I hope she likes it for real :)

I haven't done it before but I have to admit that art trade is fun! ...if I have time to draw anything else than kids&animals ;)

Who

I recently became a Whovian - better late than never :D Mr. Mouse started to watch it few weeks ago, because he was curious what do others love about this show that much. After the first few episodes he wasn't that impressed, but he continnued, so I started as well. I didn't really like it, although it was funny but a bit stupid (exactly like Charmed), but when the 10th Doctor appeared a miracle happened and I fell in love :D ...so I had to draw as always when I love something that much :D

I'm watching the end of the 4th season right now, and I'm already afraid of the next regeneration... :(

Anne & Gilbert

I promise, this one is the last post for today - and not only because it's 11:35 pm :D

So I finished my second drawing today, hurray~

See? Less pink than the previous one :D

So it's Anne Shirley and Gilbert Blythe~ Their story is the most heartwarming ever! ...and I'm still trying to forget that the 'New Beginning' movie even exists X_x Worst sequel ever. If I'm feeling down or I'm just bored, I watch again and again the Anne of Green Gables movies and I have to watch the Road to Avonlea series (all of them!) EVERY year as well :) I'm a bit sad that they're not so popular :S but I'll love them forever and they are my biggest mori inspiration *^.^* And one day I HAVE to visit the Prince Edward Island!

Eternal love

It's been almost two months since I posted, but I'm superlazy and now that it's colder I'm always sleepy, so sorry for my absence ^^

Lately I haven't even drawn, not since our Enchanted cosplay which was back in May O_o So now I started to draw again and I finished my first picture just now.

Do you know them? :) They are my all time favourite couple~ and although I really like Peruru as well, but I was soooo in love with Helios when I was little and still watched it in tv *^.^*

My next drawing will be another retro couple, I can't wait to finish that one as well :) They won't be so pink and sparkly, I promise :D

I can't wait till this weekend's anime convention and for our cosplay! :) I don't have too much time nowadays, but I thought that I have to draw Robert and Giselle in my freetime :) I don't often use coloured lines, but now I realised how much I like the picture like this, so I think I'll colour them next time as well :)

Garden of Imagination in Vienna

The new logo of the brand Garden of Imagination inspired by our beloved Sailor Moon ;) Do you like it?

I had to design it because I'll attend the now officially announced Innocent World Tea Party in Vienna in october (FB event here!) to sell my little works, and I thought that a I should have an own logo, to introduce the brand in front of foreign lolitas :)

The event is still so far away, but I'm already really excited, and I'm planning my collection to sell there for weeks. I can't wait! The only thing that makes me said that it will be so short, only from 1pm till 6pm :((

Talent

I think I HAVE TO show it to you all :D My grandfather's computer is broken, my father wanted to repair it, and he found a file on it - this one:

For the non-hungarians: it says "To Grandpa with love from Dóri. 01/23/1999" Yes, I made it almost 14 years ago, and I'm really proud of how talented I always was :D But hey, it was a really kind gesture, wasn't it? :) But the best part is that he kept it!

That never happened before

OMG, 2 months! That really never happened before. I'm shocked. Okay, I'm working, but hey, drawing is my favourite thing! Maybe that's the reason why I feel so depressed nowadays. There's so many emotions left inside me, I have to draw them out ^^"

Wednesday in the city

Yesterday was a fun day - but my legs still hurt. :) At first I went to school. Yep, me. To school.  :) I was talking with a fashion designer class about my adventures and experiences in Paris and showed them my graduation work and diploma thesis. I really enjoyed it (as I always enjoy when I can talk about my life :D) and they were really interested and curious.

After that I met with Nekohime, it was fun, we met for the last time ages ago! We went for a little girly shopping and had lunch in a KFC. I bought a chocolate brown dress (to match my lovely brown hiking boots) and a long blue cardigan with white stripes, yaaay ^_^ I know that I should stop shopping, but it makes me happy while I'm waiting for my boyfriend... please come back soon, I really need you! :)

Captain Americas :)

I forgot to post this pic when I drew it back then in Las Cruces. I made it before our Movie Theme Party, when we already knew that at least one of us will dress up as Captain America :) Yep, Gábor did it in the end - I was the Red Queen, and I have to admit, it was the best party of the summer. Or even of the year :)
