Baroque

Last Saturday we went to a baroque ball with Mr. Mouse to the Museum of Fine-Arts of Budapest. We got the tickets from my parents for my nameday, and it was lovely :) It was a combined ticket so we could visit the Caravaggio exhibition as well, it was really interesting, and I always love the opportunities when I can talk about art history to Mr. Mouse - who knows literally nothing about it :D (I don't mean to hurt him, I know nothing about the timey-wimey space-thingies that he studied, neither does he need to know everything :))

But anyway the ball was nice, everyone was wearing costumes and there was free champagne and macaron *__* I ate like 6 macarons :D

We accidently ran into Yaka, and we were really happy to meet her there :) She was wearing her lovely AATP dress, so it was nice that I was wearing a lolita blouse and lolita accessories as well :D I made my skirt especially for this occasion, but Gabor was wearing his Enchanted Robert coat and vest. It was perfect for a ball like this, because if you remember, Robert was wearing his for the same kind of ball ;))

They even made a short interview with us so we were in the local news on the next day :) So all in all it was a fun night and I really enjoyed it! Thank you Mum & Dad :)

Frozen Anna WIP

A lovely girl comissioned me to do Anna's coronation gown for her. That's how it looks at the moment. I'm sure my heart will break into pieces when I have to give it to her :_) I want to cosplay Anna as well! *_*

Frozen Elsa photoshoot

As I mentioned earlier, one of my prizes on the Christmas Anime Convention was a photoshooting with a professional photographer in a studio. It happened in the end of December and it was really exciting and tiring at the same time, I was totally exhausted at the end of the day but it was fun to get to know the others and work together :)

Yesterday we got the photos and I have to say that I'm totally happy with the result! The photographer did an amazing job, I'm really greatful. For the first time in my life, I'm satisfied with myself on a picture :D

This one is my favourite. The lights, the colors, my skin, everything looks so nice :) *a little bit egoist*

The most Elsa-like photo :)

Doing some magic with Yuriko's crystal ball :) (it's an actual ball, not photoshopped. Ok, except the sparkles :D)

Most princess-y, like a painting~

In the middle of the transformation :) Yep, I still look weird without bangs :D

I hope you like them :) I'm already working on my next cosplay (actually almost finished!) and will have an other photoshoot soon! *excited*

Garden of Imagination 2013

2013. My first year with Garden of Imagination is over, and I need to say thanks to a lot of you! I made 10 cosplay outfits in total, and participated at 9 Cons and at an international tea party :) I am really grateful to have won 2 out of 3 cosplay contest I entered, and that feels great! Huge thanks to those who appreciated my works, and especially to those present on this picture. They helped me a lot and always stood by my side. I hope 2014 will be similarly active, I wish the best for you all as well ^.~

Elsa cosplay (Frozen) - Christmas Anime Convention

On the 14th of December we had a big anime/comic convention in Budapest. Usually I'm selling my works on conventions like that but this time, since it's winter themed, I wanted to do a Frozen cosplay. I started to work long before the movie even came out, and I was really excited about it. It was fun to watch the trailers over and over again to get the details, I really enjoyed it, maybe more than I would have if I had more information :)

Let it go~

Let it goooo~

I chose Elsa's coronation dress though I'm more like Anna in personality (and I had to dye my hair to light blond because it was more like golden blond), but since it's winter, I wanted to do Elsa. I'm planning to do Anna as well, but strictly with my Kristoff ;) Sooo, coronation dress. I know that everyone prefers her ice dress, but it's too sexy for me, I guess her personality transformation (letting go :D) just haven't happened with me yet :)

The cold never bothered me anyway~

At around 11 o'clock we had the judging in front of some important people of the cosplay society :D And I was a bit depressed, because they didn't seem to like me - but I should have misunderstood them, because I won the contest in craftmanship 'costume making' category :D I was really surprised, actually I did it only because I love it when people recognise me in nice dresses :D

I won 2 professional photoshoots (one of them is a Special Award and I got that as well :D), one in a studio and the other one is of course in the snow - I'll freeze to death :D But don't misunderstand me, I'm really happy with it! :) And I got some other prizes as well: a ticket for next spring's convention, 2 vouchers for a hobby store (best prize ever! I spend the half of my life there :D), a Kera magazine, a book and some chocolate that I already ate :D

I had a stand for Garden of Imagination as well, so I was selling my works but sadly my table was at the very back of the building so not so many people visitied me... Still it was nice, Lulu and Mr. Mouse helped me a lot so I'm not complaining :)

Fire and Ice - Lulu cosplay as Annie (LoL) and me as Elsa (Frozen)

Queen Elsa and her faithful knight, Mr. Mouse in his cute chess chocolate tie :)

We're going to make the first photoshoot on the 28th, I'm alrady REALLY excited and afraid of it at the same time, I haven't took part in something like this before and I still have to improve my hairstyle - wish me good luck!~

The most beautiful scene ever *T__T*

Sailor Disney Princesses

Ok, that's a post that I should have written back in september :D So back then when we were cosplaying Giselle and Robert, we met some other cosplayers who were dressed as Steampunk Tinkerbell and her friends. I instantly fell in love with them, and we decided to make a new projekt together: the Sailor Disney Princesses!

At first we were a group of 6, but sadly two girl canceled less than 2 weeks before the convention :( But we decided to do it anyway! Yun as Mulan, Wes as Ariel, Niki as Esmeralda and me as Rapunzel.

The day of the Cosplayer Expo (21/09/2013) was almost a disaster. I felt so fat in my really short skirt, and I was so much taller than the others :S Not to mention our performance. I'm terrible at dancing I simply don't hear the rhythm, and I feel so stupid while doing it. So it's obvious that I messed up on the stage :D and even now I feel embarrassed, but it's okay, actually I enjoyed it :)

We had problems with my GLOWING HAIR as well, but luckily we fixed it just in time. Sadly we didn't win anything, we were a bit dissapointed because we worked awfully lot, but we did a nice photoshoot last week in the Citypark, and I'm happy with the result :) We're still waiting for some other photos, I hope we'll have a nice group picture as well!

Now I need to finish my normal Rapunzel dress and Flynn Rider's vest till spring ;)

Vienna

Soooooo.... As I may mentioned, with our Giselle and Robert cosplay we won 2 tickets for the biggest austrian anime and comic convention, and as we have an amazing friend in Vienna, we thought that we could visit her and go to the con as well ;)

Friday I was wearing a casual lolita outfit but I hated it :D Since then I already sold the skirt although 2-3 years ago it was my absolute favourite skirt, but since than I totally changed my style and I don't really like sweet lolita clothes anymore. I mean on myself because on other girls it can be totally cute! :)

On Saturday we started our day at a Cupcake café where Anita took us :D But it was too expensive to stay there for a coffee so in the end we ate our cupcakes in nice park. After that we went back to the Con but this time we were wearing our Enchanted cosplays again. We met some more Hungarians, for example Cintia, who is a cute lolita girl so we spent our day whining together for plush alpacas and other cute things :) But it was sooo expensive T_T

In the evening Anita invited Hanna and her boyfriend over and we had a lovely dinner together. After the dinner we played our traditional drinking game :D and then went to have a nighttime picknick at the back of the Danube, it was really charming with candle light and some more wine!

Since Anite lives really close to the riverbank, we spent the Sunday there, I got a bit of sunburn as well, but it was really nice! Although the Danube crosses Budapest as well, I've never bathed in it before because it's too wide and fast here, not to mention the amount of garbage in it :S It was cold so I couldn't go in but at least I was standing in it for like 15 minutes :D

It was a lovely long weekend, Anite spoiled us as much as it's possible, we had germknödels, apfelstrudels and everything that you can imagine! :) I'm not sure we can repay it to her somehow, but we will surely try :)

More enchantment

Some more photos of our cosplay. We did this photoshoot 2 and a half weeks ago in the city park. Alkyra worked a lot on them, many thanks to him for the lovely pictures!

Actually nothing interesting happend in the past few weeks instead of working so I don't have much to write about. But I hope the pictures are enough for now ;)

Enchanted CON

I still owe you a post about our Enchanted cosplay last weekend! I don't really have much to say besides posting the photos... it was amazing, I loved how it (we) turned out, everyone liked us, we won the cosplay craftmanship competition and we'll definetly do this again sometime! I'm proud of us, and I can't wait for our photoshoot on Friday, wish us luck with the weather!

With the lovely Nikita, the famous french cosplayer as Cinderella. I have no words, she was simply amazing!
And with my favourite steampunk fairies! They were the cutest team ever! :)

And one part of our prize: the new member of our family, Giselle-bear :)
